ABOUT THIS WEBSITE:
MetaGearSolid.org is all about providing fresh analysis of some aspects of the Metal Gear series, Hideo Kojima, and whatever else I feel like rambling about, really. With a particular interest in following the story behind the games themselves, as well as the deeper themes within them, you can be sure to find a fresh perspective.
As for the name, it's pretty brilliant if I may say so. First of all, the word "meta" is pretty close to "metal"; secondly, the word "meta" actually means "self-referential", and is used by really smart people all the time! Thirdly, the series itself tends to be pretty self-referential, and therefore it could be called "meta"!
ABOUT MYSELF:
My name is Terry Wolfe, and as you've gathered I'm a fan of Metal Gear. I enjoy writing, drawing, analyzing, and discussing the series, which is why I made this website.
