We all know that Kojima doesn't mind paying serious "homage" to countless pop-culture influences, but stealing ideas from a humble Metal Gear fansite? Kojima has sunk to new depths. Here are the top 4 examples of Kojima ripping off my MGSFIVE fan fiction.

[UPDATE: I've heard some people make fun of this article, but I hope you guys realize this was supposed to be a joke. It's not like I honestly think Kojima knows about my site. I just wanted to point out coincidences and remind people about my MGSFIVE work.

And may I add, Diju rike it? - TW]

4. Unconventional Name

It's the name of the game

Until Peace Walker, every "major" installment of the MGS series has included a shiny new number to let everyone know it was serious. When I decided to boldly change it up with "MGSFIVE" I never suspected that Kojima would follow suit and ditch the number system as well. How else do you explain this supposed "coincidence"? You can't really.

And, may I just add that "Sins of Libertine" is about 1000% cooler than "Peace Walker" for a subtitle?

3. South American Setting (WHOOPS)

Welcome to the jungle

There are thousands of locations where Kojima could have set his next Metal Gear game, and yet he happened to choose the same continent as me: South America. Unfortunately for him I called dibs on the exotic and expansive Brazilian Amazon, so he was forced to move his location up to boring-ass Costa Rica so it didn't look so obvious. Who does he think he's fooling?

EDIT: Okay, so Costa Rica isn't actually in South America. But it's pretty much the same thing right? I think it still counts, right? It's south of America, and therefore it's south-America.

2. Low Tech

Expect to see this in Peace Walker if the rest of Kojima's ideas are any indication

When I sat down to contemplate what kind of technology the best sequel ever to MGS4 ever would need, I concluded that I would wind back the clock rather than going super sci-fi. Kojima must have seen this and agreed with me, because he too is reaching back into history for Peace Walker's arsenal. The difference is that I cleverly managed to set my fan fiction's timeframe after Guns of the Patriots, but Kojima took the easy route and is now simply retconning (the supposedly "canon") Portable Ops completely.

Also, while we don't know what the specific weapons of Peace Walker will be, I guarantee you that they will be less interesting than the ones in MGSFIVE: Sins of Libertine.

1. Aerial Metal Gear

I EXPECT ROYALTIES, KOJIMA

As if the above things weren't bad enough Kojima also ripped off my idea of introducing an aerial Metal Gear as the final weapon. Damn, how blatant can you get? While his has some sort of retarded prehistoric CYPHER-type technology carrying it around, Metal Gear Foster wonderfully utilizes a railgun system to launch multiple winged Metal Gears across the world. When I first saw the trailer for Peace Walker I was trying not to see the parallels, but this sealed the deal for me. Come on Kojima, you can do better than ripping me off, can't you?
